Terms and Conditions



  • Our fixed labour charge includes:  (1) Engineer,s callout (2) diagnostic charge, safety check, part estimate, (3) repair charge of which covers repair and functional test on your appliance and (4) includes VAT.

  • The charge for fridges, Freezers and Dishwashers differs from the other appliances but similar to the above charging structure. Check what we charge here.

  • Our charges are non-refundable . This charge covers our administrative charge, callout and diagnosis hence, can not be apportioned

  • No extra labour charge if parts need to be ordered.

  • Our labour charge covers fault complained while making a booking online or by telephone.

  • Part is charged for separately if your appliance needs it.

  • No extra charge if the initial complained problem needs more than one visit for it to be repaired.

  • We charge you our fixed labour charge as soon as engineer is leaving your property or gets to you except you make other arrangements.



  • We repair domestic appliances only

  • We give you 12 months guarantee on labour when we replace electrical or mechanical part(s). Parts are fully manufacturer guaranteed. Different guarantees come with different parts based on manufacturers or approved dealers. Our clients should discuss with the engineer on site about the guarantee that is available for any part used on their appliance. This won't be more than 12 (twelve) months in most cases

  • We will not be able to give guarantee on domestic appliances repaired in a commercial environment.

  • Also, we do not give guarantee on cosmetic parts such as bulbs, handles, glass etc or parts that could be used not in accordance with the manufacturer's manual and instructions.

  • Our labour guarantee will not cover damage as a result of appliance being affected by flood damage or infestation, repairs to appliance which have not been installed in accordance with the manufacturers' recommendations and appliance over 8 years old and the parts are found to be obsolete.



  • If a part is a special order and after a period of 8 weeks your part does not arrive after it is ordered, both parties have the right to cancel and refund will be calculated based on what has been spent by us. 

  • We reserve the right to end repair process/cancel repair if

  • Part is obsolete

  • Or our engineer diagnosed the appliance is not repairable or BER (Beyond Economic Repair)

  • An appliance can be BER to either party. This is when repair is uneconomical for you OR us



  • Your cancellation will only be accepted by writing us via email (check here for our contact details)

  • You may change or cancel your appointment date at any time up to 16:00 on the day before the original agreed call out date. If you wish to change or cancel your appointment please call us. In this case you will receive a full refund if you have paid but if you have not paid, you won't be charged.

  • If you cancel the fixed charge repair at any time after 16:00 on the day before the agreed appointment date we will refund you the original fixed price fee paid less an administration charge of £30.00 + VAT if you have paid at all. If you have not paid, you will be liable to pay an administration charge of £30.00 + VAT only


  • If our engineer cannot gain access to the appliance or is not able to repair your appliance due to your error or circumstances caused by you on the agreed appointment date you will be charged an administration fee of £30.00 + VAT with the balance of the fee paid refunded to you if you have paid.

  • Your appliance must be easily accessible and in a safe environment for repair to be carried out. In a situation whereby your appliance is not easily accessible or will require more unusual task or time which may be uneconomical, we reserve the right to cancel the repair . You will only pay non refundable administration fee of £30.00 + VAT only. We reserve the right to advise or negotiate if you/client persists repair should be done.


  • We reserve the right to change or cancel your selected appointment date and any alternative date will be offered to you. If date offered is unacceptable to you we will give you a full refund of any fee paid IF we have not attended for diagnostic or safety check and NOT in the middle of repair.


  • TAR web site includes links to external web sites. These links are provided to help you find additional information quickly and easily. We (Manna Utilities and Management Ltd) T/A TAR accepts no responsibility for the content of these web sites.

  • If you wish to cancel whilst your repair is in progress, for example, the engineer has visited once but will need to return to complete the repair, if you have paid, refund will be calculated based on what has been spent by us.  If parts have been purchased on your behalf and fitted, you will not be eligible to cancel, no refund will be made and we will charge you for the part used. Should part(s) be returnable, we will refund you based on what is recovered when parts are returned.

  • We reserve the right to cancel your repair if we do not hear from you within 3 to 5 days after our engineer visited and your appliance will need part(s) except there is an arrangement between you and ourselves.


  • We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time and without notice. Any such changes will take effect when posted on our website and it is your responsibility to read these terms
